Acoustic diffuser employs the QRD diffusion theory, which is based on the quadratic remainder theory. It calculates the varying depths of the pedal to form the diffuser. Placement Point
Front wall:
Front wall is the closest primary reflection point at the whole room. Put it on the front wall can keep the  sound retained and well scattered towards the listening position. 
Side wall
Side walls were treated with  QRD panels to guide the sound wave travelling to the listening position in Diffusive way. This promote a evenly distributed, Same intensity of sound all over the room.

A nice back wall treatment can make room diffused by 40%!  We put QRD and Skyline in combination to diffuse the wall nicely.

Ceiling
Few skylines on ceiling on the top of listening point can make ceiling point diffusive. It depends on the size of room. If room is really small then It's a mandatory thing to do. In this case the client's room was standard, it's not necessary to do that.
